PEBBLES OF HOPE SANCTUARY
The idea for the project was prompted by merging of memories in which I cathartically made pet rocks as a child and later visited numerous religious sanctuaries for emotional relief after my husbands death. I thought, what a great way to bring people together in spirit by creating a project in which people could decorate rocks related for their own need for catharsis and place them, by faith, in a designated location on the farm where my studio is... I have had a few art projects over the years where the elements arrived in the mail. This would mimic that process. So, get a rock, decorate or write a message on it, and mail it to 575 Mcdevitt Road, Marshall NC. 28753 and I will place it with the others in a sacred place.
